ILLUSTORY

Hey Everybody!

I have had such a productive weekend! it almost seems surreal! its amazing how things can go from concept to a real thing litreally during 1 day!

So you may not know BUT ive been working on a project called Illustory. The idea being a few young artist (Myself included) have been working on illustrating classic Novels and stories.

Seems pretty simple but this is where the fun comes into and what i am pretty excited!

So in Oxford there is something called the Oxford Leiden Link. Which basically strengthens the friendship between our two cities. It all came about after the WW2 to help build bonds in Euro many towns and cities where linked.

Anyways Saturday the 2nd of July in Alice in wonderland day in Oxford. So lots of the Oxford Leiden Link where there. we decied this would be the best day to introduce ILLUSTORY

and it went awesomely well!

So as usual with the help from the GREAT CLARE CARSWEL (I owe her so much) me and the other young artist created some work to show at Alice day!

The reaction we had was really something else! the Oxford Lieden Link really loved our work and want to help us out with setting up something to do in Lieden next year!

AS well as the Lewis Carrol Socitey taking a big interest in our work and possible talks of another display for Alice day next year at the story Muesum!

We meet the Mayor of Oxford and his wife as well! They stayed around and had a chat to us about it! so that was very cool!

so our next steps for the ILLUSTORY are we are going to have a introductroy exhibtion in September to really introduce the artist in full.

Then in Chipping Norton theatre we will be doing an exhibtion for there christmas Panto.
Robinson Crusoe and the Pirate Queen! so keep an eye out for that!

Needless to say this is going to be awesome! so watch this space... on the flip side of that youve probley heard enough of my rabblings so here are some pictures and some Art!
